Nikolay Sereda

« It is impossible to solve new systemic urban transportation problems using outdated approaches or by merely reconfiguring a single intersection. Data — strategy — key decisions. That is the way forward. »

Nikolay has managed complex, multi-level projects in public, private, and non-profit sectors including the Russian Ministry of Construction, the Center for Advanced Governance, and the Urban Development Center of Murmansk Region.

His work has included overseeing the All-Russian competition for best public space projects and developing intermodal transport solutions in Karelia. At STEP, he led strategies for SberCity’s parking network, Tashkent’s transport system, and numerous Moscow street and public space schemes.

He designed dedicated bus lane concepts for Baku and urban mobility frameworks for residential areas by GC PIK, GC Samolet, DARS, and GC ASTRA.

Nikolay uses flexible and layered project management methodologies, including P3.express, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban.
